NuEnergy Flows Gas from Sumatra CSG Well

NuEnergy Gas has commenced flowing gas from its Maura Enim-2 coal seam gas well in South Sumatra.

The company said that early gas production and flaring result exceeds its expectations and that it is currently monitoring and evaluating the build-up of gas pressure and flow rates for reservoir modelling purposes.

Peak gas production from the coal seam gas well in the Muara Enim production sharing contract is expected to between 0.25 and 1.25 million cubic feet of gas per day based on permeability data.
