NuEnergy Gas Drills Second Well in South Sumatra's Tanjung Enim PSC

NuEnergy Gas Limited on Friday said it has commenced drilling second core well, TE-007C, at the Tanjung Enim Production Sharing Contract (PSC) tenement in South Sumatra, Indonesia.

Coals have been logged and a cumulative 49 metres of net coal seams have been identified.

Mobilisation of the rig commenced immediately after the completion of the first core well in early July. TE-007C is located about 2 km from TE-008C and approximately 190 km west of Palembang, Indonesia. This is the second of the three core wells to be drilled in the Tanjung Enim PSC during the quarter. Upon completion of TE-007C, the rig will be mobilised to the third core well located in close proximity.

Tanjung Enim PSC covers 312.7 km2 of the South Sumatra Basin and is situated in the most prolific CBM basin in Indonesia with existing gas pipeline infrastructure nearby.
