Novatek secures new Russian gas licence
Russia's Novatek has won an auction for exploration rights to the North-Yarudeyskiy block in Russia's northern Yamalo-Nenets region, containing an estimated 93.5mn barrels of oil equivalent, the company said on June 16.
The block is situated near the Novatek-operated Yarudeyskoye field. Novatek's licence will run for 27 years.
