Norway's June Gas Output Stutters

Technical problems reduced Norway's output of hydrocarbons in June, the offshore regulator Norwegian Petroleum Directorate said July 11, although gas output was still higher than it had been in June 2017.

Total gas sales for the month were 9.3bn m³, down 400mn m³ on May, but with fewer days. Daily output for the two months was very similar. Nearly all this gas was exported, Norwegian gas demand being negligible.

For the year to date, forecast average production was 341.7mn m³/day, compared with 340.2mn m³/day actual output.
