Norway's Gas Output Dips in May

Norway's average daily gas production in May slumped to 308.4mn m³/d, which was down by about 8.8% from April's 338.3mn m³/d as the offshore maintenance season began. But it was also down 5% compared with last December's forecast 324.4mn m³/d, according to data from the regulator, the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate published June 19. This is the first month this year that the output has fallen short of output.

Output was however up on where it had been in May 2017, when it reached 293.3mn m³/day. Total gas sales in May 2018 were 9.6bn m³, a reduction of 0.5bn m³ from April.
