Norway's Gas Output Rebounds in Oct

Norwegian gas output soared by 50.3% month on month in October, arriving at 298.6mn m3/day, according to data published by the Norwegian Petroleum Directorate (NPD) on November 19.

The NPD did not provide reasons for the growth, although production in September was impaired by maintenance work and technical problems. October’s output nevertheless was 13.6% below the directorate’s forecast of 345.6mn m3/day and was 12.4% lower than the level recorded in the same month last year.
