Norway Maintains 2013 Production Levels

Preliminary figures suggest Norway is keeping up with the production levels achieved last year, despite reduced production from Draugen, Gullfaks, Skirne, Visund and Volve fields.

‘Total gas sales were about 9.3 billion Sm3, which is 0.6 GSm3 less than the previous month,’ reads a note released on Thursday.

Preliminary figures are 3-4% higher than expected.

According to the forecasts, production in March, April and June should remain on 2013 levels. In May, gas production should decrease by 5% year-on-year.
