Nord Stream back online after maintenance

The 55bn m3/yr Nord Stream gas pipeline from Russia to Germany resumed transmission on July 23 after scheduled maintenance work was completed on time, its operating consortium reported.

The annual maintenance began on July 13 and was completed on schedule, Nord Stream said. The downtime follows similar work at Russia's TurkStream pipeline that runs under the Black Sea to Turkey in June. The Yamal-Europe pipeline, which carries Siberian gas through Belarus and Poland and into Germany, was also offline earlier this month for work.
