NLNG Aims to Have 10% Global Market Share

Nigerian Liquefied Natural Gas (NLNG) is aiming to capture 10 per cent global market share from current seven percent, reports Nigerian Tribune newspaper.

The company is confident of reaching the target once Train 7 is finally completed. NLNG currently operates six trains.

Company’s Managing Director, Babs Omotowa, recently said loss of market share is US due to shale gas revolution could be compensated by demand in Asia.

“We are now exploring the Asian market like the Japan, India and China,” he said.

NLNG has shipped 3000 LNG cargoes to customers globally.
