MoU focuses on Latin American hydrogen

US-based clean energy company Pennsaco Technologies said September 7 it had signed a preliminary agreement to build a presence in the Latin American market.

The company signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with US- and Latin American-based consultancy Net Zero Carbon Solutions to explore opportunities in the region.

“This partnership will provide state of the art waste-to-renewable energy plants and decarbonisation solutions to the oil and gas industry and beyond,” Pennsaco CEO Robert Kelly said. “We are eager to get started and look forward to a long and prosperous partnership that will make significant environmental, social, and carbon negative impacts in Latin America and globally."

The Americas in general are embracing greener energy solutions. The authority at the Port of Corpus Christi in early September signed an MoU to develop a carbon storage facility in the region.
