L&T Hydrocarbon Wins ONGC Contracts

Mumbai-based L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering, a wholly owned subsidiary of Larsen & Toubro, has won twin orders from Indian state-owned Oil & Natural Gas Corporation (ONGC), the parent company said June 27 in a stock exchange filing. It did not give financial details.  

The first engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning contract (EPCIC) is for development of Heera Panna Block of Western Offshore basin which is about 70 km southwest of Mumbai High. The project includes two well-head platforms, 49-km subsea rigid pipelines, 10 riser installations and modification work at seven existing platforms and the Heera Process Complex.

S&P 2023

The second contract is for development of Mumbai High South field of Western Offshore basin which is about 210 km to the west of Mumbai city. The project includes 100-men living quarters and the modification and interconnection of all the utilities with existing WIS, BHS, SLQ platforms.
