Kunlun Energy's H1 Profit Up

Kunlun Energy’s profit during the six months to June 30 (H1 2019) was up 1.6% year on year to yuan 3.14bn ($440mn), Kunlun’s parent firm CNPC said September 5.

The company achieved total gas sales volume of 12.6bn m3, a year on year increase of 20.3%. City gas sales volume was 9bn m3, up 25.2% year on year, CNPC said. At present, Kunlun’s natural gas business covers 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities, with a cumulative user of more than 10mn. The company operates 1,044 CNG and LNG refuelling stations. 

During H1, the total LNG gasification and loading capacity was 9.45bn m3, and the average load rate was 70.8%, Kunlun said.  The company's Jingtang and Jiangsu LNG receiving stations are expected to complete the construction and commissioning of two 160,000 m3 storage tanks and two 200,000 m3 storage tanks in October 2020 and July 2021, Kunlun added.

Company’s revenue grew 8% from a year earlier to yuan 53.54bn.
