Kistos reveals latest production figures

Kistos, a low-carbon offshore gas producer focused on the UK and the Netherlands, on June 9 revealed its production figures for the five months up to the end of May.

Net, pro forma output during the period amounted to 12,000 barrels of oil equivalent/day, Kistos said, which was unhedged as of April 1.

Kistos has agreed to purchase 20% interest in the Greater Laggan area in the UK West of Shetland from the operator TotalEnergies, and the deal is progressing towards completion.

Greater Laggan comprises the Laggan, Tormore, Glenlivet, Edradour and Glendronach fields. The production from Kistos's 20% share reached 8,000 boe/d in 2021.  In the Netherlands, Kistos is currently evaluating the Q-10 Gamma exploration prospect.  An infill drilling campaign is also being carried out at the Dutch Q10-A gas field, undertaken by Kistos's operating partner Tulip Oil.

Kistos's chairman Andrew Austin said: "Kistos has started the year strongly, delivering a solid operational performance and benefiting from high gas prices.
