Kalla Group, Pertamina Plan LNG Terminal in Indonesia

Kalla Group, through its subsidiary Bumi Sarana Migas (BSM), in cooperation with state owned Pertamina plan to develop LNG receiving terminal in Banjarnegara, Banten, Indonesia.

“We had previously aimed to develop an LNG receiving terminal on the west side of Java,” Pertamina director Yenni Andayani was quoted by kompas.com as saying.

The terminal is likely to have a capacity of 500 million standard cubic feet per day (mmscfd), equal to 4 million tons of LNG.

Andayani, however, said that neither firm had signed a contract or agreement for the project.
