Jera Global Markets Buys LNG Cargo from Woodside

Jera Global Markets (JERAGM) April 10 said it has purchased an LNG cargo from Woodside Energy Trading Singapore.

The cargo will be sourced from the Wheatstone LNG project in Western Australia and will be delivered to one of Jera’s LNG terminals in Japan during May.  The cargo is the first Asia Pacific cargo to be transacted by JERAGM, it said.

“We are delighted to be up and running as Jera Global Markets and the team and I look forward to expanding our LNG activities in the Asia Pacific region,” said Kazunori Kasai, CEO JERAGM.

JERAGM became operational in April 2019 following the merging of Jera and EDF Trading’s LNG optimisation and trading activities.
