Japan's January LNG Imports Dip

Japan’s LNG imports in January were down 0.5% in January to 8.26mn metric tons, provisional data published by country’s finance ministry February 19 revealed. Last year, Japan’s LNG imports were 83.63mn metric tons, up 0.4% year on year, making it the world's largest LNG importer, ahead of China which last year overtook South Korea.
