Iran’s Siri Facility Exports 100,000 Barrels of NGL to India

Iran’s Siri gas refinery has exported its third consignment of natural gas liquids (NGL) to India, the head of the facility announced on Saturday, reports Tasnim News Agency.

The facility exported 100,000 barrels of naphtha and is now ready to export propane and butane, Mohammad Javad Sokhanvar said.

Launched in 2003, the NGL factory in Siri is envisaged to extract 140 million cubic feet of associated petroleum gas. The facility is expected to earn the country more than 150 million dollars a year, according to Tasnim.

Once fully operational, the factory will produce 841 tons of propane, 328 tons of butane, 361 barrels of pentane and 1,250 barrels of gas condensate a day.
