Iran's NIGC Processed 104 bcm Gas During Eight Months

State owned National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) has processed 103.74 billion cubic meters (bcm) of natural gas in the eight months ending November 21, an Iranian gas official said on Friday, according to Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA).

According to Abdolhossein Samari, director of NIGC’s operations department, the figure is 11 bcm higher on year. The company processed 92.74 bcm of gas in the corresponding period last year.

Samari noted that more than 16.7 bcm of gas liquids were also produced during the period compared with 15.57 bcm during same period last year.

NIGC produced 1.18 billion tons and 970,000 tons of LPG and ethane respectively in the period, IRNA quoted Samari as saying.
