Iran to Supply Gas to Europe Through Turkey

The managing director of the National Iranian Gas Company (NIGC) has said that the company has received permission from Turkey to transport gas to Europe through Turkish pipelines.

"Iran has obtained the necessary permissions from Turkish officials for transit of Iran's gas from Turkey," MD Javad Oji said. 

Mr. Oji said that details of the agreement still needed to be finalised between NIGC and Turkey, but said that consultations surrounding the matter were ongoing.
