Iran Ready to Hike Gas Supplies to Turkey

Iran is ready to supply more gas to Turkey after some technical problems halted supplies.

Referring to recent request by the Turkish Botas for buying more gas from Iran, Iran said the request was being considered by National Iranian Gas Company officials.

A NIGC official said that if Turkey’s gas supply network has enough capacity to receive more gas, Tehran is ready to hike supplies.

Supply of natural gas from Iran and Azerbaijan to Turkey fell on Tuesday due to compressor station technical glitches in both countries.
