Iran Opens Largest Liquefied Gas Storage Facility
Iran has inaugurated the largest liquefied gas storage facilities in the country’s southeastern province of Sistan-va-Baluchestan, state owned media outlet Shana reported Friday.
The facility was dedicated to the public on Thursday during a ceremony to mark anniversary of the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran, in the provincial capital Zahedan.
The gas plant will help development of the province’s infra-structure projects, reduce transportation costs, improve railroads operation, and set the ground for export of liquefied gas, Shana reported.
The storage facility has a capacity of 500 tons.
