Indonesia's Pertamina May Manage Oil, Gas Blocks in Bolivia

Pertamina has been invited by Bolivia to explore for oil and gas blocks in the country.

Bolivian oil and gas company, Yacimientos Petrol-feros Fiscales Bolivianos (YPFB), has offered the opportunity to manage some oil and gas blocks, media reports said.

The Latin American nation has 15 oil and gas fields and 49 blocks are under exploration. The se 15 oil and gas fields are estimated to hold 13 trillion cubic feet of gas and 900 million barrels of oil. The combined 64 blocks are said to hold 60 trillion cubic feet of gas and 250 billion barrels of oil.

Pertamina could enter into a 40-year investment contract with Bolivia.
