Indonesia to Offer Tenders for Eight Conventional Oil, Gas Blocks This Year

Indonesia will offer eight conventional oil and natural gas blocks for tender in 2015, country’s oil ministry said Wednesday.

Four working areas will be offered in direct tender and four will be offered in regular tender.

Blocks that will be offered through direct tender are:

1.    Rupat Working Area, Riau Offshore and North Sumatera

2.    North Jabung Working Area, Riau Onshore and Jambi

3.    Southwest Bengara Working Area, East Kalimantan Onshore

4.    West Berau Working Area, West Papua Offshore

Meanwhile, working areas offered through regular tender are:

 1.    West Asri Working Area, Lampung Offshore

2.    Oti Working Area, East Kalimantan Offshore

3.    North Adang Working Area, West Sulawesi Offshore

4.    Kasuri II Working Area, Papua Onshore
