India's September LNG Imports Up
India’s LNG imports in September were 2.72bn m3 (about 2mn metric tons), up 4.9% yr/yr, according to data published October 24 by Indian oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC).
In the six months ending September 30, cumulative imports were 16.27bn m³, up 7.9% yr/yr. In the previous Indian financial year ending March 31, the country imported 27bn m³ of LNG, up 2.6% compared with the year before, setting a new record.
