India's LNG imports drop 12% in December

India’s LNG imports in December came in at 2.26bn m(1.67mn metric tons), down 11.5% year/year, the country’s oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) website showed on January 20.

The cumulative imports of 20.39bn m3 for the nine months of the current 2022-2023 financial year were lower by 15.1% compared with the corresponding period of the previous year.
