India's L&T Energy Hydrocarbon wins contract in Middle East

L&T Energy Hydrocarbon, a unit of Mumbai-listed Larsen & Toubro (L&T), has received a letter of intent for a "mega" offshore order from a client in the Middle East, L&T said on November 20.  

The scope of work comprises engineering, procurement, construction and installation of a new large offshore platform and brownfield work of integration with existing facilities. The company did not provide any other details about the contract.

L&T said that its hydrocarbon business is executing several domestic and international offshore projects and is committed to expanding its regional presence across adjacent and business-conducive geographies.
