Indian Punj Lloyd Completes $822mn Malaysian Gas Pipeline Project

Indian Punj Lloyd has completed the construction of a $822mn gas pipeline in Malaysia, the company said August 4. 

The 512-kilometre, 36-inch diameter pipeline was awarded to Punj Lloyd by Petronas for transporting gas from the Sabah oil and gas terminal to the Petronas LNG complex at Bintulu, Sarawak. The project achieved financial closure in July,  it said. 

“This is the largest EPC pipeline project that Punj Lloyd has executed till date,” Punj Lloyd director, Atul Jain, said. 

The pipeline project was awarded to Punj Lloyd in 2008.
