Indian LNG imports down 6% in November

India’s LNG imports in November were 2.32bn m(1.68mn metric tons), down 5.9% year/year, the country’s oil and gas ministry's Petroleum Planning and Analysis Cell (PPAC) website showed on December 19.

The cumulative imports during the April-November period, the first eight months of the 2022-2023 financial year, were 18.57bn m3, down 13.5% yr/yr. The LNG imports cost $1.6bn last month versus $1.2bn in the same month of the previous year, PPAC said.
