Indian Gas Exchange trades record volume in March

The Indian Gas Exchange (IGX) traded a record 33,33,900mn Btu gas volume in March, it said on April 4 in a statement. IGX also delivered a record high volume of 27,20,500mn Btu last month.

The highest single-day trade of 7,58,400mn Btu and delivery of 1,16,600mn Btu was scheduled on March 16. IGX this month started with six consecutive monthly contracts. Earlier it was three monthly contracts at a time.
