India Cuts KG Basin Pipe Tariff by 64%

Indian downstream regulator, Petroleum and Natural Gas Regulatory Board (PNGRB), has reduced tariff for the Krishna-Godavari basin gas pipeline network by 64%, it said in a note published on its website June 28.

The tariff has been reduced to Indian rupee 16/mn Btu ($0.23/mn Btu) from Indian rupee 45.32/mn Btu previously. The new tariff came into effect July 1.

Krishna-Godavari basin gas pipeline network carries gas from the KG basin to mainland India.
