Hudong-Zhonghua takes on LNG carriers from GTT

GTT said on April 21 it will deliver tank designs for four new LNG carriers on behalf of Chinese shipyard Hudong-Zhonghua Shipbuilding.

Hudong will use the tank designs to build carriers for two LNG ship owners, though neither client was disclosed.

GTT will deliver tank designs for four vessels each containing 174,000 m3 of LNG storage capacity. The first vessels are scheduled to be delivered in mid-to-late 2024, and the orders should be completed by early 2025.
