Gunvor in SPA for LNG from Delfin Deepwater Port

Delfin Midstream said November 27 it had entered into a long-term sales and purchase agreement (SPA) with Gunvor Singapore covering between 500,000 and 1mn tonnes/year on a free on board basis from Delfin LNG’s proposed Delfin Deepwater Port offshore Louisiana.

“This latest sale and purchase agreement further demonstrates our attractiveness as a long-term source of scalable, reliable, and clean LNG,” Delfin Midstream CEO Dudley Poston said.

The Delfin Deepwater Port, located about 40 nautical miles off the Louisiana coast in the Gulf of Mexico, is a four-train floating LNG facility with a combined liquefaction capacity of 13.3mn tonnes/year. Delfin has secured commercial arrangements for LNG sales and liquefaction services and is the final phase towards a final investment decision on the first three trains.
