GTT pens services agreement with Nakilat

French GTT has signed a technical services agreement (TSA) with the Qatari state-run shipping company Nakilat, it said on February 14.

GTT will support Nakilat with the maintenance and operation of its fleet of 26 vessels, all equipped with Mark III or NO96 technologies, developed by GTT.

This agreement includes GTT on-site technical assistance for inspection, maintenance, repairs, operations and engineering services. Nakilat will also benefit from access to the GTT’s emergency hotline, which enables ship-owners and their crews to contact GTT’s experts 24/7 to respond to operational issues, the French company said.

Nakilat earlier this month reported a record profit of 1.35bn riyals ($378.8mn) for the 12 months to December 31, up 16.7% year/year.
