Gazprom's Russian Gas Output, Exports up

Over the first seven months of the year, Russian gas giant Gazprom’s gas production amounted to 288.9bn Russian m³ (284bn European m³), up 8.5% on the same period of 2017. July gas production grew by 7.4%, the most for that month since since 2012. Gazprom’s gas sales on the domestic market grew by 5.4% compared with last year. 

Gazprom’s gas supplies to the European Union and Turkey reached 117.1bn Russian m³, 5.8% (6.4bn m³) more than in the same period of 2017. In particular, gas supplies to Germany were up 12.3%; to Austria, 48.3%; to the Netherlands, 53.8%; to France, 11.8%; to Croatia, 40.1%; to Denmark, 11.9%; and to Poland, 6.6%. Russian cubic metres of gas are measured differently from standard, and have fractionally less energy.
