Gazprom, Vietnam Discuss LNG Supplies

Gazprom and Vietnam have discussed prospects for possible Russian liquefied natural gas  (LNG) supplies to Vietnam.

A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the two parties according to which Gazprom Marketing & Trading and Petrovietnam Gas would cooperate between each other for LNG supplies to the south east Asian nation.

The topic was part of a wide spectrum of issues surrounding the Russian-Vietnamese cooperation in the energy sector. The two parties also discussed the projects of Gazprom Group and Petrovietnam being executed within the Vietgazprom joint operating company on the Vietnamese continental shelf.
