Gazprom to Shoot Yamal Seismic Survey
Gazprom has opened a tender for 3D seismic surveying work at the Malyginskoye gas field on the Yamal Peninsula, according to procurement documents published on July 9.
Companies have until July 23 to apply to take part in the tender, which will take place on July 29. Gazprom is offering rubles 135.2mn ($2mn) for the work. Malyginskoye is one of four fields in Gazprom's Tambey cluster. The other three are Tambeyskoye, South-Tambeyskoye and Syadorskoye.
Gazprom has a total of 32 fields on Yamal, estimating their combined resources at 26.5 trillion m3. It hopes to eventually produce 360bn m3/yr of gas on the peninsula, up from 96.3bn m3 in 2019, as its western Siberian fields decline.
