Gazprom Exports Slump 5.6%

Russia’s state gas supplier Gazprom saw exports to countries outside the former Soviet Union fall by 5.6% yr/yr to 102.8bn m³ between January 1 and July 15, the company reported on July 16.

This was despite a 2.3% climb in its gas production to 276.3bn m³ in the period.

Previous years have seen Gazprom steadily increase its shipments to Europe, on the back of rising demand and a drop in European supply.
