Galilee completes 2022 drilling programme

Galilee Energy has completed the drilling of the sixth and final well of the 2022 drilling programme at the Glenaras gas project in Queensland, it said on June 23.

“All existing wells will now be progressively brought back online over the coming weeks with surface facilities work on track for completion by the end of July,” Galilee added.

Galilee in February completed a share placement programme to raise approximately A$11.8mn ($8.5mn) to fund the campaign. Its primary area of focus is Queensland where it is appraising its 100% owned Glenaras gas project in the Galilee basin and exploring in the Surat and Bowen basins.
