Fuling shale gas field's output up 12% in Jan-Aug

Sinopec-operated Fuling shale gas field has produced 4.78bn m3 of gas in the January-August period, up 12.1% year/year, the company said on September 10.

Fuling, in central southwest China's Sichuan basin, became operational in 2014 and serves as a key source of supply for the Sichuan-East pipeline. Sinopec produced 6.7bn m3 of gas from the Fuling field in 2020, up 6% yr/yr, the company said in January.
