French Sofregaz Wins Taiwan Terminal Feed Contract

French engineers Sofregaz has been awarded the front-end engineering and design (Feed) contract by Taiwan’s CPC Corporation for the third expansion phase of Taichung LNG terminal, it said on July 28 in a LinkedIn post.

The contract covers two additional LNG tanks and associated regasification facilities. The project is expected to be complete in 2026, Sofregaz said. The Taichung LNG receiving terminal has a capacity of about 5mn metric tons/year.
