France's Dunkirk terminal invites truck-loading bookings

The Dunkirk LNG import terminal in northern France is to launch a subscription window for its available truck loading slots at the terminal from May until July 2021, it said March 31. A binding phase will be opened midday on April 12 and run until the evening of April 21.

The truck loading capacity amounts to 3,000 slots/yr and this subscription window provides an "ideal opportunity to book capacity in a growing market," said the operator.

The increasing demand for cleaner energy in maritime and road transport as well as in the industrial sector has brought LNG to the forefront as an attractive alternative owing to its low emission profile. It opened the truckloading facility last year.
