Rover Pipeline in Full Service

The US Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (Ferc), in a letter order issued May 31, issued service authorisations to Energy Transfer Partners (ETP) for the Supply Connector B and Mainline B of the 3.25bn ft3/day Rover pipeline project.

But it is continuing to evaluate ETP’s request that the Burgettstown and Majorsville laterals also be authorised for service in time for a planned June 1 start date for Rover service. Later on May 31, ETP announced that the two authorisations allow 100% of Rover's capacity to be placed in service.

Starting June 1, ETP said, service to the Market Zone North segment of the mainline, delivering gas to the Dawn storage hub in southern Ontario, would begin by way of the Vector Pipeline connection in Michigan.
