Excelerate hails milestone at Bangladesh terminal

Excelerate Energy's floating storage and regasification unit (FSRU) Excellence has completed the 100th ship-to-ship transfer of LNG at the Moheshkhali floating LNG terminal in Bangladesh, it said on June 9 in a LinkedIn post.

Since beginning operations in 2018, Moheshkhali terminal has delivered over 310bn ft3 of natural gas to the region, the company said.

Excelerate has been operating in Bangladesh since 2018 and has two FSRUs located offshore in the Bay of Bengal. It completed its 2000th commercial ship-to-ship transfer of LNG on April 3, also at the Moheshkhali terminal.
