Equinor, PGNiG clinch gas sales deal
Norway's Equinor has reached an agreement to deliver 2.4bn m3 of gas annually over a decade to Poland's PGNiG, the companies announced on September 23.
The supplies will be delivered from Norway to Poland via the Baltic Pipe project, due to start up later this year. Shipments will begin on January 1, 2023. It is enough gas to cover 15% of Poland's annual consumption.
The National Gas Company of Trinidad and Tobago Limited (NGC) NGC’s HSSE strategy is reflective and supportive of the organisational vision to become a leader in the global energy business.
"I am very happy that through this gas sales agreement we can extend our offering as a reliable energy partner also to Poland," Equinor's vice president for marketing, midstream and processing, Irene Rummelhoff, said in a statement.
