Energean Appoints COO

Greek upstream company and major Israeli gas developer Energean said October 2 it has appointed petroleum engineer Iman Hill as chief operating officer effective November 1 2018.

She brings over 30 years' global experience in the oil and gas industry and, prior to joining Energean, was technical manager, UAE general manager, and president for Egypt at Dana Gas. She began her career with BP in 1984 and worked in a variety of technical positions before becoming a senior reservoir engineer. In 1997 she joined Shell where she held positions such as senior regional adviser Africa to the E&P CEO, plus general manager Shell Egypt and chairwoman of Shell companies there. From 2005 to 2011 Iman worked at BG Group, including as senior vice president, developments and operations.
