Egypt's Petrojet to Build Oman Pipe

Egyptian Petrojet has won $90mn EPC contract to build the Duqm gas pipeline in Oman, Egypt’s petroleum ministry said November 27.

The contract to build the 221-km pipeline has been awarded by Oman Gas Company. The 36-inch diameter pipeline will supply from gas hub of Saih Nihayda, a SEZ currently under development on the Wusta coast.

The ministry said this move will help Egyptian companies expand their presence overseas. Petrojet has recently won a number of contracts in Oman including OGC’s Salalah Gas Loop Line project.
