Donggi Senoro Ships First LNG Cargo

First LNG cargo from Donggi Senoro LNG project has been shipped to Pertamina operated Arun LNG receiving terminal, Mitsubishi Corporation, a partner in Donggi Senoro project said Sunday.

Mitsubishi, which has a 45 percent stake in the project, further stated that the second cargo is scheduled to be shipped around mid-August.

Donggi Senoro LNG project has 2 million tons per annum of LNG production capacity, located in Central Sulawesi state, Sulawesi island. After 4.5 years of development, the LNG plant operation started on 24th June, 2015. The project will deliver LNG based on long term contracts to supply 1 million tonnes per year to Chubu Electric Power Co Inc., 300,000 tonnes per year to Kyushu Electric Power Co Inc. and 700,000 tonnes per year to Korea Gas Corporation (KOGAS).

In addition to Mishubishi, other partners in the project are KOGAS, Pertamina and Medco.
