Dart Energy's International Reserves Rise

Coal bed methane player Dart Energy has announced that its net international proven plus probable reserves have risen by 3% from 43.3 billion cubic feet to 44.7 Bcf while proven plus probable plus possible reserves increased ny 39% from 100.4 Bcf to 139.9 Bcf.

The company also increased its best estimate of net international contingent resources 433% from about 900 Bcf to 5 trillion cubic feet.

Apart from Australia, the company has commercial reserves in India, Indonesia and Scotland. 

The current assessment does not include its shale gas potential.

The company said that the rise would be attributed to the company’s work programs as well as its acquisition of unconventional gas assets last year.
