Dana resumes ops at Kurdistan's Khor Mor gas field after drone attack

Dana Gas, an energy company based in the UAE, announced on January 26 that production operations at the Khor Mor gas field in Iraqi Kurdistan have been successfully resumed. The announcement follows a temporary halt in production due to a suspected drone attack on the evening of January 25.

According to Dana Gas, the incident occurred when a liquid storage tank at the Khor Mor facility was struck by the drone, leading to a fire outbreak. In response, production was promptly suspended to allow for the effective extinguishing of the fire.

The company did not provide specific details regarding the extent of the damage caused by the attack but said that there were no injuries to personnel.
