CNPC Updates on Sulige Field H1 Production

CNPC-operated Sulige gas field in Inner Mongolia has produced 13.4bn m3 of natural gas in the first half of the year, the company said July 23 without offering year-on-year comparison. In 2018, the field produced about 24bn m3 of natural gas.

The Sulige gas field in central Ordos Basin is one of the largest gas fields in China, with about 860bn m3 of proven gas reserve. It is part of the Changqing oil field. In the first of this year, CNPC deployed 65 rigs and completed 262 gas wells, achieving 56% of the annual target.
